19 Months

Trapped Inside

This last week was rather uneventful as we had two snow days and the Friday Lily was off of daycare and I was home sick.  That is what I get for being trapped inside with a germy toddler for two days.  We did escape the house a few times to play in the snow and to go to the pool.  Lily LOVES the pool now and gets so excited when we talk about going.  We went Thursday afternoon and then again on Saturday with Anna.  She had a blast going down the kid slide and jumping in from the side of the pool.  She is turning into a real pro and it doesn't even phase her when the water splashes her face anymore.  Let's hope that continues for going all the way under soon.  Lily's daycare teachers told us that she has been talking quite a bit more and more spontaneously lately.  New words this week are Oliver, stickers, purple, yellow, pink, and thank you.

Every girl needs a playroom!

first visit to ikea was a success!

Actually enjoying the snow this time.

This week Lily has had so much fun playing!  Reading books on the potty, crawling on the new bed, shopping at ikea, and playing in the snow!  She is saying so many words now that it is hard to keep track of the new ones, but I think she has around 75-100.  She is still working on saying them on her own.  My favorite new word is one!  She will say it while smiling with one finger up.  We went to Ikea last night to shop for her playroom.  We got drapes, an easel, and a little table.  Lily is so excited that she wants to hang out exclusively in that room now!  There is so much space for her now thanks to her daddy building a murphy bed.
