All you need is love and family!

This visit to Wisconsin was one for the record books.  We got to see so many people that we love and Lily was in heaven with her family around.  It is so wonderful now that she knows everyone and is excited to see people.  I can't wait for more trips to see her continue to come out of her shell.  Lily was at her happiest with her grandparents.  She asked me tonight if we can go visit grandma this weekend.  I am so thankful to have these amazing moments to cherish with our family.  And to her daddy who carried her from the plane to the baggage claim while she slept, you are amazing!

Big Girl Moments

A big girl bed, her first dentist appointment, and venturing off on her own to play in the fountains downtown.  Lily has had many big girl moments recently.  When we returned home from Florida, we moved Lily to a big girl bed because she did so well sleeping in a trundle bed with Anna on vacation.  She was definitely ready and has done so great.  We made a rule that she can't get out of bed without us in the room and she has followed the rules except for once or twice resisting bed for nap time.  Lily went to the dentist for the first time and did great!  The dentist was very impressed with her and Lily showed her all of her teeth. Lily was so excited and can't wait to go back.  I wish I was that excited about a new toothbrush!  Her other big girl moment was on a Sunday when we decided to spend the day downtown.  We ended up at Union Station and they have fountains outside for kids to run in.  Travis was ok with us going over but advised that she shouldn't get too wet as we had no extra clothes and needed to ride the train back. I figured that would not be a problem as usually Lily won't leave our side with so many kids running around.  Well that little girl just had to prove me wrong!  She ran around those fountains without a care in the world.  We were both so proud that we didn't even bother stopping her when she was sopping wet.  I wish I could see her so free and happy all the time.
