Happy Thanksgiving from the mountains!

Lily had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Steamboat Springs with family.  Earlier in the week she went swimming at the hotel and watched the Packer game with her cousins.  When we got to Steamboat, we went to the hot springs right away.  Lily liked the warm pool and watching all the people.  We even had her go under water a couple times.  She had so much fun at the condo playing with her cousins.  They carry her wherever she wants to go and were constantly entertaining her.  On Thjanksgiving, mommy and daddy left Lily with all her babysitters and we went to the Strawberry hot springs.  It was nice and relaxing after stuffing our faces and Lily loved hanging out with everyone.  Each night before bed she would give everyone in the room a kiss.  On Friday we went to dinner and to the tree lighting.  It was quite cold so we left right as they lit the tree.  I am not sure what Lily will do without all these people to entertain her.  She will be very bored this coming week.  Lily seems to feel mostly better, but her ears are still bothering her so we may be headed to the doctor again this week.

Sick Day....or 4!

Lily had a rough week and got a terrible cold.  She was down and out for at least 4 days.  Throwing herself on the floor while screaming, had her pacifier all day long, and completely irrational.  One night she asked for a banana so I gave her one, she took two bites and asked for a new banana, eventually I gave in and gave her a new banana and she took one bite before screaming for another.  This is just one example of how things went this week.  The good news, everyone came to visit and Lily is seeming to turn it around.  We went to the doctor and they say she has another ear infection.  Today though Lily is seeming slightly better.  It may just be all her new playmates, but she was smiling and giggling and acting somewhat like that happy girl I know and love.  So excited to spend the next week with family!

"Where's my coat?"

Lily is so excited about figuring everything out these days. Earlier in the week she stayed home with daddy and she went to get her coat and boots because she wanted to go play outside.
