Lily pulled herself up to standing today.

Lily continues to explore and move more each week.  She is now crawling around in a few different ways using her army crawl and a crawl where she keeps one leg folded the the other up more like walking.  She is getting more content being on the floor as she is able to move more and more.  She likes to follow us to every room.  She is holding onto an ottoman to stand and has even transferred from the ottoman to the couch.  She will pull to stand using items that are low, but won't use a table to do this yet.  Lily was sleeping through the night, but this week she has been off and is getting up two to three times a night.  I am assuming that we may find out why soon enough...tooth, growing, getting ready for a new milestone; your guess is as good as mine.

33 weeks

This week Lily started a few fun new things. She is starting to bear crawl every once in awhile but still prefers to army crawl to get around quickly. She is "dancing" when she hears a song she likes which involves shaking back and forth.

This week I was reading an article about being a parent and this quote really resonated with me:
"Motherhood right-sized everything for me. I’m happier, and I was pretty happy before."

I was happy before I became a mom, I loved my life and I really wasn't even sure I wanted anything to change.  I was so scared throughout my pregnancy about sleep deprivation, lack of time for myself, a change in my marriage.  These things have all happened, but somehow even with some things being slightly harder day to day I am still happier.  I can't imagine my life without Lily.  It feels like my heart is so full of love that it may pop out of my chest.

32 weeks

This week we got back to normal getting home to Denver and back to our routine. Lily was so happy to see Addie again!  Addie was less thrilled since she had bigger kids to actually entertain her while we were gone. Lily is really working on her crawling and is getting closer. She is going from laying to standing more. We had to lower her crib mattress this week as she was pulling herself up in it. This morning Lily slept until 8:30 am and didn't make a peep so I went to check on her and she was sitting in her crib happy as can be playing with her pacifier. I got her out and went to change her diaper only to find she was covered in poop!  She didn't seem to mind at all, such a gross little girl.
