The ups and the downs

One of her favorites, "The Little Mouse,
The Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear"

I told her daddy was taking a nap and she went on the chair to take a nap too.

A few highlights from the week:
Wednesday I had such a long and stressful day at work and came home in a bad mood.  Lily was so funny that night!  She really made my day great.

Friday morning when I dropped Lily off at daycare, I made her leave her crackers in the car and she was so mad that she screamed from the car to her classroom and all the way outside where her classmates were.  She then threw herself on the floor and continued to scream.  Then she came to get comfort and continued to scream.  One staff commented that they were quite impressed at how long she could keep that up.  Another said that was a good thing and will serve her well later in life, not sure I can agree with that right now.  The good thing about this was that I got to leave her there and go home to work all by myself.

Lily is so interested in helping right now.  Last night we were outside, Travis was cutting up boxes to recycle and I was cleaning the new patio furniture.  Lily wanted to help so she got some paper towel and asked me to spray the table with cleaner.  She then sat cleaning the table for a good 10 minutes.  She also insisted on taking any trash from me and throwing it in the trash.  She would point and say "trash" then take it and put it in the trash.  The girl wants everything to be clean!
